This policy explains what personal information FatManFlies collects, why, and what you can do about it. FatManFlies is run by Eraa (U.K.) Ltd, which is the data controller.

What we collect

  • Newsletter: your email address, the date you signed up and confirmed, and which emails you open or click. We use Moosend to send the newsletter.
  • Emails you send us: your message and email address. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.
  • Analytics, only if you agree: Google Analytics counts visits and pages read; Microsoft Clarity records, without your name, how pages are scrolled and clicked. Neither runs unless you accept analytics cookies.
  • Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

Why, and on what basis

  • Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw any time with the unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics: your consent, through the cookie banner. Change it any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
  • Replying to emails and running the site securely: our legitimate interests.

How long we keep it

Newsletter details until you unsubscribe, then removed within [x] days. Emails for as long as needed to deal with them, and no more than [x] years. Analytics data for [14 months], the Google Analytics setting we use.

Who we share it with

Only the services above, which process it for us under contract. Some are based outside the UK; where they are, they use the safeguards UK law requires. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to move it. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
